This Privacy Policy applies to all users of EBIG Hub, including individual users, companies, consultants, agencies, and Educational / University users accessing the platform under educational licenses.

3. Categories of Personal Data

We may collect:
- Identification data (name, email, organization)
- Account credentials and access data
- Billing and invoicing data
- Content entered into EBIG Hub tools (business data, KPIs, assumptions)
- Technical and usage data (IP, device, browser, logs)

- Provide and operate EBIG Hub tools and services
- Enable AI-assisted planning and analysis features (AI Biggie)

6. AI and Automated Processing

EBIG Hub includes AI-assisted features designed to support decision-making.
- AI outputs are informational and non-binding
- User data is not used to train public AI models
- Users remain responsible for validating outputs

7. Data Sharing

Data may be shared only with GDPR-compliant service providers (hosting, payments, analytics, support). Personal data is never sold.

8. International Transfers

Where data is processed outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards (SCCs) are applied.

9. Data Retention and Account Deletion Flow

Account deletion follows this technical flow:
1. User initiates “Delete Account”
2. Account access is immediately disabled
3. Operational data is scheduled for deletion or anonymization
4. Full deletion/anonymization occurs within a maximum of 30 days

Exceptions:
- Billing and accounting data is retained for 5–10 years as required by Romanian law
- Data required for legal defense or compliance is securely archived

10. Educational / University Users

For Educational licenses:
- Institutions act as data controllers for student data
- EBIG Hub acts as data processor
- Student accounts may be provisioned and deactivated by the institution
- Educational data is never reused commercially

11. User Rights

Users have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time.

12. Cookies

Cookies are used for functionality, analytics, and security.

13. Security

We apply technical and organizational security measures to protect data.

14. Children

EBIG Hub is not intended for users under 16.
